I think I may have messed up by selecting some actions but not 'checking in' later so they weren't recorded. But I do it for the planet not the points!

The talk given by indigenous leaders from Peru and Brazil in the Amazon Rainforest was very well done and powerful. I learned about some threats to the people there that I was unaware of despite having done some research in the areas.

Had a blast at the International Fair. I was so happy to see how packed it was! I learned a lot from one of our students about animal conservation efforts in New Zealand. She traveled there with two of our faculty. Amazing!

Comm Squad -- I hope you are enjoying the challenge and learning some actions you can take to help our climate. Thanks for participating in this! Sunni, Paul, and I went to the International Dinner. Yummy! We admit, though, we didn't eat much because well, Thanksgiving!

I've been enjoying learning more about how to eat more sustainably re: water use in the US, and spent some time further educating myself on sustainable fashion - specifically, how the fabric I use to sew garments can be more sustainably sourced, and the types of fabrics that are most environmentally friendly to wear and buy.
