Day 4 and Chile Week is going by too fast! But we've learned about the historical roots of current politics, visited with a political activist and a journalist bent on change, and sampled Chilean cuisine for another fabulous International Dinner at D-Hall. Now all we can hope for is staying competitive with Team IS...!

Day 3 and Team IE going strong! Gabriela Pizarro's talk last night was fascinating as living testimony to the sources of Chile's political unrest. Angela Verdera's talk today at 2:30 pm in Ukrop auditorium will mine the historical roots and current manifestations of political and social change in Chile.

Gabriela's presentation was so insightful and earnest. I hope people who missed it will be able to watch the recording of it. Americans can really learn a lot from what Chileans have gone through and are experiencing right now.
