REFLECTION QUESTIONDay 3 - Food & AgricultureWhat is one thing you learned about regenerative agriculture that surprised or made an impression on you?
Maya Basnyat 11/21/2025 12:49 PMOne thing that made an impression on me was when one of the people said he was a 250th generation farmer and has degrees from Cornell and Temple University but chose to come back to his roots and continue to farm the generational land. Agriculture is undoubtedly a foundational building block of our society and I wonder how to make it more appealing to the younger generation because this was a topic of conversation across my time in Asia as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONDay 2 - Preservation & ConservationExplain how you discovered this native plant and/or your relationship to it.
Maya Basnyat 11/21/2025 12:40 PMI learned about Eastern Red-cedars in my class #250knowledge, I think they are very nice trees and I love their distinct little blue berries -
REFLECTION QUESTIONDay 5 - Nature ImmersionWhat did you work on today while volunteering? What other types of volunteering are you interested in?
