This year's challenge was a good reminder that preserving the planet requires everyone to do their part and every action helps.

I bought bamboo paper towels during my last grocery run.  They breakdown quickly!  Good for the landfill, no so much for drying hands and wiping spills.  It is forcing me to use kitchen towels more, which are reusable.

Wow, bamboo paper towels!  We also made the pledge some time ago -- and was reinforced after COVID hit and paper towels were so hard to find -- to use kitchen towels for our hands more.  We finally gotten more into that habit!
