The water quiz was really interesting! I thought I knew how much water went into beef production but then I grossly undershot it..

  • Ahsan Ahmad 11/14/2019 12:32 PM
The international dinner yesterday was amazing!!

Ahsan - You're almost on top of the leader board for participants. I'd love to see someone from Information Services win the participant contest. Go for it!
  • Reflection Question
Waste - Day 5 Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

    Ahsan Ahmad 11/12/2019 11:20 AM
In a lot of situations, people wouldn't be carrying their reusable water bottles with them (e.g some events that have accompanied food and drinks). A nearby water fountain could be one solution. Usually, I just carry my reusable bottle in my bag all the time.

I bring in a thermos of iced tea to work every day, and it lasts. It feels great not to hit the soda or water machines.

  • Ahsan Ahmad 11/12/2019 11:10 AM
Would really recommend trying the Beyond Burger at d-hall for people going for the meatless challenge.
  • Reflection Question
Simplicity - Day 2 Track my Purchases
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

    Ahsan Ahmad 11/12/2019 10:54 AM
I think I can make the change to order food 1x a week instead of twice or more.
